Three Hurricanes To Compete At NCAA Regionals

Coral Gables, FL – University of Miami seniors Jeff Gaulrapp (Baldwinsville, NY) and Jennifer Geroux (Balto, MD), and sophomore Matt Mulvaney (South Hadley, MA) will compete at the NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships, Saturday, November 10, in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The meet will be held at Harry Pritchett Golf Course. The men’s 10,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with the women’s 6,000-meter race following at 11 a.m.
Gaulrapp has been the Hurricanes’ top runner this season. He has recorded four top-8 finishes and has been the Hurricanes’ top finisher in all six races. Gaulrapp has been Miami’s top finisher in 14 consecutive races dating back to last season. Mulvaney burst onto the seen this season posting three top-10’s.
Geroux has been the top runner for the women’s team this season. She has been the Miami’s top finisher in every race this season and has led UM to two meet victories including the Greentree Invitational on October 12. Geroux recorded her first individual collegiate victory at the Greentree Invitational.
