Miami Closes Out 2001 Home Schedule

Coral Gables, Fla. – Miami plays its last home match of the 2001 seasonTuesday night at 7 p.m. in a rematch with Florida Atlantic.
Should the Hurricanes (15-7 overall) avenge an early season loss to the Owls,Miami would close its home schedule with an unprecedented 13-1 record (.928).
Miami is on a nine-match win streak and most recently defeated Bethune-Cookmanat the Knight Complex on Sunday night, 3-0.
Florida Atlantic stands at 11-13 overall and beat Bethune-Cookman, 3-0, on Mondaynight.
Miami will honor its two departing seniors, middle blocker Kristi Sprinkel (LagunaBeach, Calif.) and outside hitter Vanessa Koehler (Wadsworth, Ill.), Tuesday night.
