Gaulrapp Leads Men's Cross Country At UCF Invitational

Orlando, FL – Senior Jeff Gaulrapp (Baldwinsville, NY) finished eighth with a time of 25:48.80 to lead the University of Miami men’s cross country team at the UCF Invitational in Orlando, FL.

The eighth-place finish marked the ninth consecutive race in which Gaulrapp was the Hurricanes’ top finisher dating back to last season.

Also running well was sophomore Matt Mulvaney (South Hadley, MA) who completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 25:59.60 in finishing eleventh.

Senior Dan Boniface (Seattle, WA) took 23rd with a time of 26:44.60 while freshman Danish Ahmad was 81st (29:57.10).

Miami did not send its full squad and therefore did not factor into the team scoring.

The Hurricanes return to action on Friday, September 14th at the FIU Invitational at Tamiami Park in Miami, FL.
