Prandi, Bryant, And Davidson Make U.S. National Team

Coral Gables, FL – University of Miami sophomore Katie Beth Bryant (Chatham, IL), junior Michelle Davidson (South Carolina), and sophomore Kyle Prandi (Strongville, OH) all qualified for the United States National Diving Team that will compete this summer at the World Championships and Goodwill Games.

Bryant and Davidson qualified for the National Team with a first-place finish in the 3-meter synchronized springboard (268.00) at the U.S. Senior National Championships in Midland, TX. Davidson competed in the Sydney Summer Olympics, as a member of the U.S. team, where she finished 12th in the 3-meter springboard.

Prandi, the 2001 NCAA Champion in the 10-meter platform, finished second in the event at the U.S. Senior Championships (615.45) to earn a spot on the U.S. team.

The World Championships will be held on July 22-29 in Fukuoka, Japan while the Goodwill Games will be take place, September 4-9, in Brisbane, Australia.
