Women's Tennis To Face Notre Dame In BIG EAST Title Match

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The second-seeded University of Miami women’s tennis team advanced to its 10th straight conference final with a 4-0 sweep over No. 3 Boston College in the semifinal round of the 2001 BIG EAST Women’s Tennis Championships.
The Hurricanes’, who have won six BIG EAST titles since joining the league in 1991, will faceNotre Dame for the BIG EAST Championship for the sixth straight season on Sunday beginning at Noon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables. Admission is free.
Top-seeded Notre Dame defeated fourth-seeded Virginia Tech, 4-0, to advance to Sunday’s final.
