UM Golfers Travel To Bryan National

Browns Summit, NC (www.hurricanesports.com) – The 58th-ranked University of Miami women’s golf team will compete against some of the nation’s top golf teams, April 6-8, at the Bryan National Collegiate Women’s Golf Tournament being held at the Bryan Park Champions Golf Course in Browns Summit, NC.

The three-day, 54-hole event will start at 8:30 a.m. each day and boasts 16 teams ranked among the top-71 teams in the nation.

Included in the 17-team field is No. 1 Duke, No. 6 Tennessee, No. 15 Oklahoma State, No. 20 Purdue, No. 22 Wake Forest, No. 27 South Carolina, No. 33 Furman, No. 40 North Carolina, No. 45 Florida State, No. 54 Louisville, No. 55 Memphis, No. 65 Kentucky, No. 67 Penn State, No. 68 UNC-Greensboro and No. 71 College of Charleston.

Miami is coming off of a fifth-place finish at the RYDER/Florida Women’s Collegiate Golf Championships last weekend. The Hurricanes were led by sophomore Dominique Gagnon (Dominican Republic) who finished in a tie for 10th with a three-day total of 225.
