Get Ready For FOX Sports Net Canes Fest At The Orange Bowl

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The Miami Hurricanes have their sights set firmly on college football’s national championship in 2001! Meet new head football coach Larry Coker, his coaching staff and the Hurricanes players at the 2001 FOX Sports Net Canes Fest at the Orange Bowl on Saturday, April 7.

Gates open at 9:30 a.m. and fans interested in renewing or upgrading their season tickets can select their seats for the 2001 season upon entering the Orange Bowl. Coach Coker will be available for a question-and-answer session sponsored by the Miami Herald beginning at 10 a.m. in the Orange Bowl Athletic Club. Then, the Hurricanes hit the field for the 2001 Spring Football Game set to begin at 10:30 a.m.

Fans can visit UM’s exciting Touchdown Alley throughout the day, can take a tour of the Hurricanes’ locker room and pose for pictures with National Championship trophies and the 1992 Heisman Trophy won by Miami’s Gino Torretta. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., fans can get autographs from their favorite Hurricanes.
