March 15, 2001
CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The No. 24-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team plays host to No. 15 Mississippi State Friday night at 6 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
The Hurricanes enter the match 10-2 overall, while MSU is 8-3. The teams have played two common opponents this season, each on their home courts. Both teams have downed Southern Miss and Baylor this year.

State owns a slim 4-3 lead during that time, but has won the last four contests between the teams, most recently three victories during the 1997-99 seasons.
