Read Your Greetings Here!

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – –

Send your message to any Hurricane athlete or coach!

From Wes Tamblyn, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to Ed (takes it to da house) Reed: Blow up like a hurricane and bring home the Championship where it belongs in Miami. You da man and the freaks are out in PA!!!

From Rob Shmeelcke, Yokosuka, Japan to the entire team: Hey guys, just wanted to let you know how great it is to watch the way you’ve been playing. Being stationed overseas makes it hard to watch games, but you’ve made it worth it for all of us to wake up in the middle of the night to watch!!

From Joaquin Zapien, Paoli, Indiana to the entire team: Good job in recent weeks looks like you will be going to the Rose Bowl when you beat Virginia Tech. Well, good luck in the next few weeks.

From Barbara Jordan, Laurel, Missouri to Clinton Portis: I wish you the best of luck. I’ve had the opportunity to watch you play several times this year. You seem to get better and better. Good luck to you and your team as you prepare for a bowl game. Perhaps I’ll see you soon.

From Judy Day, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida to the team: The OB was the place to be November 24th – That game was certainly rewarding, for family, fans and a host of others. Still no news about you here in NE Florida – this is the vast wasteland for UM news. Thank goodness for the Internet!

From Marco, Madison, Alabama to Andre Johnson: Don’t let your early success go to your head, you’re a great player and will be playing on Sundays.

From Shane Bomboy, Deridder, Louisiana to Edward Reed: Who would you rather play in the rose bowl? Florida or Texas?

From Jeff Crane, Tacoma, Washington to Joaquin Gonzalez and Najeh Davenport: Nice game against Washington!!! I take a lot of flack up here being the biggest CANE fan in the northwest. Get the seniors together and get re-focused for V-Tech. They aren’t going to hand you anything. Nice job!!!!!

From Peter Farrell, Maui, Hawaii to the team: I used to live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and now I live in Maui Hawaii. So GO CANES and aloha from Hawaii. And for the Huskies, EAT CANE DUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From Francis Tocco, AB 1969 to the team: I am one very angry alumni….ABCtelevision stopped telecasting the Miami Wahington game after half time and switched to the Notre Dame/Stanford Game….This again is just another example of Miami not getting any respect…ABC televised the entire Colorado-Nebraska game and that was a blowout as well.. I think ABC owes the University and the National audience an apology …I called ABC in NYC and lodged a complaint but they will just blow me off….

From Marlin StJohn, Shortsville, New York to Mount McKinny: GREAT job against Washington. I want to see the same intensity against Virginia Tech.

From Sh’Nere Deas, Charleston, South Carolina to the team: Roses are red, violets are blue, we’re going to Pasedena, are YOU? There’s only one problem: On January 3rd no one will care what color the violets are! To the team and coaches, thanks for your hard work, and love to make the Canes #1. GO ‘CANES GO!

From Adam Dounn, Cooper City, Florida to Phillip Buchanan: You need to stay another year. Don’t go to the NFL, go for another National Championship. The NFL will always be there. If you have another great year next year, you’ll be a higher draft pick. STAY!!!!!!!!!!! GO CANES

From Adam Dounn, Cooper City, Florida to Larry Coker, the greatest coach in college football: Larry, you are a great coach, keep up the good work. Paul Dee was smart about choosing you, outstanding job. Thank you. Good luck at VT. Go CANES

From A huge Cane Fan, UK to all: I am so happy for all of you. God blessed your team because of all the trials and tribulations you have been through. I guess patience is a virtue. Do well and go soft on my Gators. God Bless!

From Andrew Constant, Kingston, New York to the team: Great season guys. You deserved number 1. I’m rooting for you.

From Jan Ashby Light, Mechanicsville, Virginia to Larry Coker and the Hurricanes: We have seats right in the middle of the VA Tech fans!!! We’ll be there in our green and orange behind you all the way. Blow into Blacksburg on your way to the Rose Bowl! Go ‘Canes, Go! Blow those Hokies away!!!! Jan Light, UM Class of ’69

From Jimmy Cannon, Ocoee, Florida to Ed Reed: -Life long fan- Hit em hard-Drive-Bring back the swagger-Beat Washington-The Rose Bowl is in hand-Get this team up for the future. We need national dominance again!!

From Jimmy Cannon, Ocoee, Florida to Ken Dorsey: We need you for your senior season. Bring the next string to par. Help continue the excellence!!

From Kerry Mutschler, Winnie, Texas to Jeremy Shockey: Hey man, I just wanted to let you know you are what I want to be in a TE. Every game y’all play, I record and go over it to try to play like you. I think y’all are the best in the nation by far.

From Cindy (David) Lavery, Phoenix, Arizona to the whole team and coaching staff: Hey guys – you make it a lot more fun to wear my true colors. I am a 1981 grad (Coach Kehoe’s year), and a former UM Cheerleader that flys to a lot of your away games. You showed great class last year. This year – UM #1! See you in Pasadena!

From Moe Bacote, Summerville, South Carolina to The Perfect Storm: Guys, lets stay focused, continue to make plays, & take care of the business at hand & the Nat’l Championship trophy will definitely be back where it belongs. I’m not going to say good luck, God Bless You all because thats where the blessings come

From Bryan Louviere, New Orleans, Louisiana to Ken Dorsey: Go out there and show everybody why we should be #1 and go and beat Washington and VT and go play NEB in the Rose Bowl and beat them bad and show them ya’ll not to be played with. Go Dorsey #1 Heisman Winner

From Moe Bacote, Summerville, South Carolina to Ed Reed: Thanks to you and the dominating D we are back to the GLORY DAYS. I’m glad you guys weathered the storm and stuck it out. The swagger is definitely back and that was proven in the BC game when you came up with another BIG play and spiked the ball

From Shawn Storey, Lauderhill, Florida to Kevin Beard: Yo my man KB wha’s up? Did you know you now have a catch in six straight games. Could be the start of something great. So did you catch your pic in the paper Sunday. I know you did and I don’t care what you say it hurt. Well see ya on Sat.

From Michael Warthen, Jacksonville, Florida to the team and staff: First, I must say great game against the Orangemen… After that display of talent and domination, how can we lose… Congrats again fellows and coaches, of course. Proud to wear Orange and Green… GO CANES!!!!!!!

From Blake Nedved, Garner, Iowa to Edward Reed: You are the greatest SS I’ve ever seen play in college football. Your ball skills are so unreal. I idolize you 100%. It is a joy just watching you on Saturdays. Good luck.

From Brandon Ward, Dothan, Alabama to Ken Dorsey: Hey, Ken I just wanted to write you because I love you. You are my role model. I think I’m your #1 fan. I watch all the games. I support you a lot. I have all your stats. I have pictures of you everywhere. You are #1 in my mind so go out there and win.

From Johnny Prince, Chattanooga, Tennessee to the coaches and the team: I just wanted to let all of you know what you mean to me. I’m a real hurricane fan, win or lose, I’m there with each and every one of you. Always show heart and character, play with desire to succeed on and off the field. Good luck, good season, never give up.

From Ryan Weaver, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Ken Dorsey: You are such a great quarterback and your game play and leadership has really affected the way I play the game. I’m 17 and am making my return to high school football after an injury that almost cost me my life my freshman year. I hope to talk to you.

From Jeff Phillips, Dunedin, Florida to Bryant McKinnie: Without a doubt, I must say that you are the most outstanding offensive tackle I have ever seen. I tape games to watch your techniques. You are so fundamentally sound, and you are a shining example that offensive linemen can be stars.

From Mike Yozipovich, Painesville, Ohio to Clinton Portis: I am a huge fan of yours. You are my favorite player since probably Rohan Marley and Edgerrin James. Just want to say keep up the good work, and I am looking for yet another 100 yard game out of you against Syracuse. Let’s finish the season with 1000!

From Pablo Alejandro, Tempe, Arizona to the whole offensive line: Hey O-Line you guys are the best! Keep up the good work and I hope to play for Miami one day and would be proud to play on the same field you guys have played on. Remember no disrespect to Ken but he wouldn’t have as many yards without the O-Line.
