Hurricane Runners Head To Gainesville

Coral Gables, FL – University of Miami senior Shannon Sarabyn will look to win her fourth consecutive individual title while junior Jeff Gaulrapp will attempt to win his fourth straight event at the Gator Invitational on September 30 in Gainesville, FL.

The women’s race is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. with the men’s race starting at approximately 8:45 a.m.

Led by Sarabyn and Gaulrapp, the Hurricanes have performed well in the season’s first three meets.

Sarabyn, Miami’s top finisher in eight of the last nine races dating back to last season, has finished first at all three events this season and has seven career individual titles to her credit.

Gaulrapp, one of two returning runners from last season, has won all three races this season in leading the Hurricanes to a third-place finish at the UCF Invitational and second-place finishes at the FIU Invitational and Jacksonville Invitational.
