NCAA Baseball Regional Pairings Announced

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The NCAA announced today the pairings for the NCAA Baseball Regional at Coral Gables hosted by the University of Miami at Mark Light Stadium, Friday, May 26 – Sunday, May 28.
The Miami Hurricanes (37-17-1), the top-seed in the region, will open against fourth seeded Wagner (24-28-1) on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Wagner, which is making its first NCAA Regional appearance, earned an automatic bid as the Northeast Conference champion. Second-seeded Florida Atlantic (42-17) will face the No. 3 seed Florida International (40-18) in the regional opener at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Miami, the defending NCAA National Champion, is making an NCAA record 28th consecutive regional appearance. The Hurricanes have advanced to the College World Series each of the last six seasons and 14 of the 16 years they have hosted. UM, hosting its 17th regional tournament, holds a 60-10 all-time record in regional games played at Mark Light Stadium.
Tickets to the NCAA Regional at Coral Gables may be purchased from the UM ticket office at the Hecht Athletic Center from 9-5, Monday through Friday or by calling 305-284-CANES in Dade or 1-800-GO-CANES. Tickets are also available at TicketMaster Outlets and can be purchased on game days at Mark Light Stadium.
All-tournament packages are $60 for reserve chairback seats, $36 for adult general admission and $27 for youths 17 and under and seniors 55 and over. Single day passes are $20 for reserved chairback, $12 for adult general admission and $9 for youth/senior general admission. Individual game tickets are not available.
