No. 45 Miami blanks No. 49 Central Florida

Coral Gables, FL – The 45th ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team (9-9) defeated No. 49 Central Florida (16-4), 9-0, Friday at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables.

Miami, which improves to 160-33 all-time against teams from the state of Florida, handed the Golden Knights their first loss in 11 matches. Central Florida had won 10 straight dual matches.

Miami concludes its regular season home schedule against 38th-ranked Tulane on April 12 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
