Women's Tennis Dumps the cavaliers, 7-2

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami women’s tennis team (7-6) defeated visiting Virginia (7-3) by a score of 7-2 on Wednesday at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

Miami took all five singles matches as Meredith Laughlin (Miami, FL), Alanna Broderick (St. Andrew, Jamaica), Lauren Scaglione (Seminole, FL), Marcy Hora (Delray Beach, FL) and Eva Jimenez (Madrid, Spain) all collected wins.

The doubles teams of Hora/Jimenez and Laughlin/Broderick notched wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles.

The UM women return to action on Saturday, March 18 at 11 p.m., when they face Houston at host South Florida.
