Hurricanes Battle Seminoles

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami women’s tennis team (4-3) travels to Tallahassee on Sunday, March 5 to battle the Florida State Seminoles (8-2). The match is slated to kick off at 1 p.m.
Most recently, the Hurricanes fell to Duke. Against the Blue Devils, the Hurricanes Meredith Laughlin, Marcy Hora, and Lauren Scaglione won their singles matches, while Hora and Igne deVilliers won their doubles match.
The Hurricanes are lead by Laughlin, a senior captain and already one of the winningest players in UM tennis history. She is off to a 7-0 start while playing at No. 3 and 4 singles. Jimenez boasts a 4-1 record playing at five and six singles.
