Martin Leads Men at Big East

SYRACUSE, NY – Sophomore Gus Martin lead the men’s track team at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships this weekend. Martin tallied a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles (8.17) and an eighth-place finish in the 200-meter (22.41) to lead the men with six points.
Sophomore Mike Rumph and junior Shane Brown each contributed five points, while sophomore Jabari Ennis grabbed five and one half points. Rumph finished fourth in the triple jump, with a leap of 14.33m (47-00.25), while Brown came in fourth in the 200-meter dash (21.81). Ennis snared his points by tying for third in the pole vault, with a vault of 4.80m (15-09.00).
The men finished the Championships in eleventh place with 25.50 points.
