Hurricanes Handle Jaguars

CORAL GABLES, FL – The No. 34-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team (5-0) continued their undefeated season with a victory over No. 73 Southern Alabama (4-2) on Sunday. Miami won four of the six singles matches and swept doubles.
UM received singles victories from Tomas Smid (Prague, Czech Republic), Johan Lindqvist (Kil, Sweden), Peter Hoffman (Key Biscayne, FL), and Michael Lang (Sarasota, FL). The doubles teams of Hoffman/Smid, Lieberman/Lang and Mark Arrowsmith (Orange Park, FL)/Joel Berman (Seminole, FL) all recorded victories.
The Hurricanes return to action on Saturday, February 19 at 11 a.m. when they travel to Wisconsin.
