2000 RYDER Florida Women's Collegiate Golf Championship
For the 16th consecutive year, and the 17th in the 29-year history of the tournament, the University of Miami will host the RYDER/Florida Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship. The event will be held for the eighth straight year at Don Shula’s Golf Club in Miami Lakes (formerly Miami Lakes Country Club), on March 31-April 2, 1999.
The tournament features the best women’s collegiate golf in Florida, as 12 schools from the state come together for three rounds to determine the state champion. Miami has won the tournament eight times, second to Florida, which has 15 titles. A list of the past winners of the event reads like an LPGA roster, including the inaugural winner, LPGA Hall of Farmer Pat Bradley, who won playing for Miami-Dade North in 1971.
