“The plan is to practice in the morning (Tuesday),” said Davis. “Then wewill come back and hopefully practice again on Wednesday night given that it(Hurricane Floyd) is gone. That gives us over 24 hours in between thosetimes. Then, the end of the week should go as planned.”On No. 3 Penn State, Davis spoke highly of its trio of linebackers LaVarArrington, Brandon Short and Mac Morrison.

“They’re very good,” said Davis. “They are very talented, experienced and very athletic. The thing I see most about them is theirversatility – they cover, they rush, they play the run. They do stuff withthem that some people do with nickel backs.”

Due to the threat of Hurricane Floyd, Miami will return to practice onTuesday at 7:00 a.m. at the Greentree Practice Facility. Practices areclosed to the public.
