Keim Qualifies For Olympic Final

Sydney, Australia – University of Miami senior Jenny Keim (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) recorded a score of 511.02 to advance to the finals of the 3-meter springboard competition at the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.

Keim, who currently stands in eighth-place heading into Thursday’s final, reaches the 3-meter final for the second consecutive Olympiad. Keim finished ninth in the 3-meter springboard at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

In addition to the 3-meter final, Keim will compete in the women’s synchronized 10-meter platform competition with platform gold medalist Laura Wilkinson (The Woodlands, TX). Competition in the event will also take place on Thursday.

Keim, the 2000 NCAA National Champion in the 10-meter platform, qualified for the Olympic Games with a first-place finish in 3-meter springboard at the United States Olympic Trials earlier this summer in Federal Way, WA.
